Mona Scott decided that the therapeutic advantages of horseback riding and horse care could benefit all of our children, including our "golden ones" (children with disabilities).
Benefits of horseback riding: Horseback riding promotes balance, posture, flexibility, and strength, as well as self-esteem, self-confidence, self-discipline, sense of normality, hand-eye coordination, and visual/spatial perception. It is also known to help with remedial math, reading skills and advanced equestrian skills.
